London to host canoe World Cup opener

 

London’s Lee Valley White Water Centre will host the first race of the 2014 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup series next June.

The London 2012 Olympic venue will host the first of five events on the 2014 World Cup calendar and has already been confirmed as host for the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in September 2015.
