Simon Luck will join the Kennet and Avon Canal in Bristol and hopes to paddle through The Oracle on August 23
An extreme kayaker who is paddling 850-miles solo around the coast of
Southern and South West England will make an inland pit stop in
Reading.
Carrying everything he needs on his 17-foot-long kayak,
Simon Luck, from Westward Ho! in North Devon, will set off on his epic
30-day solo, unsupported journey from Falmouth, in Cornwall, next
Friday.
And he will need every ounce of his namesake, as he
believes this is the first time anyone has attempted this Herculean trip
of a lifetime.
Travelling clockwise past Lands End and along the
surf-hammered coasts of Cornwall and Devon, he will join the Kennet and
